EXAMPLE 1: Stripe 501(c)(3) Pricing Table ($5 – $20)
2 product IDs (one-time, recurring), 10+ price variations per product based on $ amount
This pricing table shows 2 Product IDs, with 3 Price ID variations ($5, $10, $20) for each of the 2 Product IDs:
- RECURRING Contribution (501c3)
- ONE TIME Contribution (501c3)
Stripe Pricing Tables are limited to showing a maximum of 3 Price variations, so we would need to be very judicious in choosing our suggested amounts with that 3-price limit.
This option does not appear to support $ Custom Amount product IDs/Prices for either one-time or recurring payments.
EXAMPLE 2: Stripe 501(c)(4) Pricing Table ($5 – $25)
4 product IDs (donation amount),with 2 price variations (one-time, recurring) per product
This pricing table shows 4 Product IDs (corresponding to $ amounts), with 2 Price ID variations (one-time, recurring) for each of the 4 Product IDs:
- Donate $5
- Donate $10
- Donate $20
- Donate $25
Stripe Pricing Tables are limited to showing a maximum of 4 Product IDs, so we would need to be similarly-judicious in choosing our suggested amounts with that 4-product limit.
This option does not appear to support $ Custom Amount product IDs/Prices for either one-time or recurring payments.
EXAMPLE 3: Stripe Payment Links => WordPress Buttons Example
A Stripe Payment Link can be created for each Product / Price variation, regardless of Product/Prices-Per-Product scheme. Each Button corresponds to a different Stripe Payment Link URL in the 501c4 Stripe Account.
One-Time Donation:
Recurring Monthly Donations:
This solution overcomes the 4 products / 3 prices per product limitations of Stripe Pricing Tables, allowing us to create as many pre-set $ amount donations as we want. It also doesn’t require us to adhere to a particular Product/Pricing scheme.
This option DOES allow us to provide a Custom ONE-TIME $ amount, albeit somewhat kludgy on the Stripe end of things (not linked to a Product, just a “Customer Chooses Amount” payment link. It does not seem to a Stripe Product ID or Price ID, which may cause issues syncing these custom amount donations with Qomon’s fundraising screens.
