The Arlington County Board is stepping up its game on voter engagement with the allocation of grants to support Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) education and outreach. Two nonprofits are the lucky recipients of this funding aimed at better preparing voters for the upcoming November elections. According to the Arlington County Board’s announcement, Challenging Racism and FairVote are set to join forces in educating the masses about RCV.
Efforts will begin immediately
The timing couldn’t be more opportune, as Challenging Racism rolled out the news of their upcoming events alongside the county fair. The Board, on their official webpage, stated, “Efforts will begin immediately.” It would seem that voters curious about RCV won’t have to wait long to get their fill of information, with education events popping up this very week.
