About Us

Rank MI Vote is a Michigan-based volunteer-run non-partisan non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about electoral reforms and Ranked Choice Voting.

Rank MI Vote is a Michigan-based volunteer-run non-partisan non-profit organization dedicated to educating the Michigan public about and placing before voters electoral reforms that increase the range of choice on the ballot and produce fairer outcomes. Rank MI Vote advocates for the expanded use of Ranked Choice Voting (RCV), which allows voters to rank the candidates on the ballot in order of preference. RCV would make Michigan elections more competitive and fair by encouraging the participation of more candidates and parties, and by ensuring outcomes that more accurately reflect the will of the voters. Rank MI Vote is organized in Michigan as a ballot question committee, allowing us to directly advocate for ballot measures in Michigan.
